This is a pattern I made up last friday. I chose the pink Dupioni to make it up in beause it was lying around and I really didnt like it at all, and then as I started to make the corset I really began to love it.
The edges are bound with gathered binding which took hours to sort out.
It has spiral steel boning and can have laces or a busk in the front opening.
It looks so much better in real life, and I think I might keep this one for myself.
Commissions of this pattern can be made up in any colour/fabric combinations, but it works better with a silk.

I love the pink - probably not something I'd have bought but it looks fantastic. The gathered binding adds that perfect girlie touch
